Pepperdine University Chinese Students Celebrate Chinese New Year

Pepperdine University Chinese Students and Scholars Association (CSSA) presented a warm and touching Chinese New Year’s show on campus the evening of January 26th.

The show attracted about 500 spectators from campus and local residence of Malibu area.  The show was the 1st Chinese Gala of a series of Chinese  New Year Galas in Southern California campus.

According to PPD CSSA president Ashley Wang,  due to the wild fire last year, students only had 20 days to put everything together.

Not only the songs, musics, dances, also Chuan opera, Beijing Opera. The most touching part were the videos from students parents in China, Parents gave the best wishes , greeting to the students. The video was the surprises from alumni in China.
