2019 Lunar New Year Celebration Opening Night in South Coast Plaza
South Coast Plaza hosts “Happy Lunar New Year Celebration Opening Night reception” on January 31, 2019 which is an annual celebratory event lasting for 9 years. About 1000 guests attended, including guests from state and local governments, Consular Corps, Chinese , Vietnamese, Koran, Indonesia communities, enterprises representatives.
South Coast Plaza welcomes the Lunar New Year with a spectacular celebration filled with special gifts, family-friendly events, complimentary activities and entertainment Jan. 31 – Feb. 18, 2019. Now on its ninth year, South Coast Plaza’s 20-day Lunar New Year festivities are the largest and most extensive of any retail center on the West Coast, drawing visitors from Southern California and abroad.
“South Coast Plaza continues to elevate the Lunar New Year retail celebration,” center marketing executive director Debra Gunn Downing said in a statement. “Visitors have made it an annual tradition to come to us for exclusive and culturally relevant experiences.”
