Global logo design competition for Mount Tai porters starts

The Mount Tai porter spirit education base office on March 29 unveiled a logo design competition for Mount Tai porters calling for entries from worldwide professional institutions, creative agencies and people from all walks of life.

Mount Tai has a unique spiritual identity for the entire Chinese nation. Mount Tai porters have the traditional spirit of “engaging in unostentatious hard work, willing to shoulder heavy burdens, never slackening their efforts and pressing ahead with indomitable will”, and have evolved new connotations with time. Inheriting and carrying forward the spirit is still of great significance today.

From March 29 to June 30, 2019 candidates may send their design to [email protected] by email.

Logo designs need to accurately display the original concept and new connotation of the spirit of Mount Tai porters. Highlighted subjects, novel conceptions, great creativeness and strong visual effects are also required. The designs must be original and enjoy independent intellectual property rights. In terms of form and technical measures, the works should be suitable for display on planes, TV and electronic media.

The organizer offers 800,000 yuan ($119,221.48) in total for competition winners. One grand prize winner will be rewarded with 300,000 yuan and a certificate. One first prize winner will take home 100,000 yuan and a certificate. Two first prize winners will each receive 50,000 yuan and a certificate. Ten nominees will be rewarded with 30,000 yuan each and a certificate. A number of certificates will also be issued to shortlisted entrants.
