Mike Eng Appointed to State Board of Appeals

Mike Eng, former Assemblyman, was sworn-in as a member of the California Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board (CUIAB) which is an “independent administrative court system for workers and employers seeking to challenge decisions made by the Employment Development Department (EDD).”  The board which consists of 5 members who work in a full-time position handling thousands of cases a year, “resolves disputed unemployment disability and tax determinations.” 

“I am very grateful to California Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon for appointing me to this very important position,” said Mike who was sworn in by the Chief Clerk of the State Assembly, Mr. Dotson Wilson on January 22, 2019.
