China’s CPI up 2.3 pct in March
China’s consumer price index (CPI), a main gauge of inflation, rose 2.3 percent year on year in March, the National Bureau of Statistics said Thursday.
The increase was up from 1.5 percent for February.
China’s producer prices rebound in March
China’s producer price index, which measures costs for goods at the factory gate, rose 0.4 percent year on year in March, the National Bureau of Statistics said Thursday.
The pace was faster than the 0.1-percent increase recorded in February.
