Farewell reception for Consul General of Sri Lanka in Los Angeles

A farewell reception for the Consul General Mrs. Swarna Gunaratne of Sri Lanka in Los Angeles, who is leaving for Sri Lanka this September, was held on July 23 at the Official Residence of the Consul General. Sri Lanka’s Ambassador E. Rodney M. Perera from Washington DC presented his recognition to the Consul General Mrs. Swarna Gunaratne.

It was well attended with representatives from a broad cross-section of other countries consuls, community and business leaders, and Sri Lanka American leaders from Southern California. Mrs. Swarna Gunaratne is completing a four-year assignment based in Los Angeles and west coast region of the states.
