The Network Journal names Renay Loper of PYXERA Global to ’40 under 40′ Achievement Awards
October 10, 2019 – The Network Journal (TNJ), a New York City-based magazine has named Renay Loper, Vice President of Program Innovation at PYXERA Global one of their ’40 under 40’ top achievers for 2019.
TNJ’s annual 40 Under-Forty Awards celebration was launched in 1998 as a hallmark program to recognize the best and brightest Black achievers under the age of 40. The honorees represent a diverse talent pool, from business owners to corporate executives, spanning industries from media, entertainment and fashion to medicine, science and financial services. Honorees are chosen based on a palpable display of excellence in business, passion for achieving higher goals, and commitment to the community. They are profiled in the Fall 2019 issue of TNJ.
“Renay is one of those unique leaders who transcends borders of all kinds—sector, culture, and geography—and everywhere she goes, she creates an environment of professionalism, possibility, and performance,” said PYXERA Global CEO Deirdre White. “Just one example of that is a project she designed that increased access to sufficient, affordable, and safe water to 50 households in Sitio Kabatbatan in the Buhisan Watershed of The Philippines. And she did that in the context of a Fortune 500 client’s immersive, global leadership development program, demonstrating and seeding that possibility with 50 of their emerging leaders.”
“I have long admired the work of the people who have been recognized by TNJ in the past and was surprised and delighted to be nominated, and even more honored to be selected,” said Loper. “I’m especially proud to draw attention to the work that we do at PYXERA Global which requires diversity, dedication, and collaboration to address world challenges—wherever in the world they may be—from Philadelphia to The Philippines.”
“As we celebrate the 22nd Anniversary of our 40 Under Forty Achievers awards, The Network Journal cherishes its role in recognizing up-and-coming African-American men and women who show promise and demonstrate excellence in their careers and commitment to their community,” said TNJ Publisher Aziz Gueye Adetimirin.
In her professional role, Loper has brokered strategic partnerships and co-opetition opportunities to accelerate market entry and service with organizations like Taproot, Ocean Conservancy, and the American Chamber of Commerce in Ghana. She is an advisory board member for the Global Pro Bono Network, a global network of 50 + organizations and frequently facilitates and speaks on the topic, including events hosted by the U.S. Department of State, Johns Hopkins University, and the BMW Foundation. She also serves on the board of advisors for Harpswell Foundation, an organization dedicated to equipping young women in Southeast Asia for leadership roles in industry, government, and non-profits.
Loper will be among the top achievers honored at the 22nd Annual “40 Under 40” Achievement Awards Ceremony, Friday, October 25, 2019, at the Crowne Plaza Times Square, Manhattan, New York. For more information visit tnj.com.
