Los Angeles Police Protective League Endorses Josh Newman’s State Senate Bid for SD-29
ORANGE COUNTY, CA — Reflecting his record working to enhance public safety, today U.S. Army veteran, businessman, and former State Senator Josh Newman secured a notable endorsement from the Los Angeles Police Protective League (LAPPL) in the race for State Senate District 29. The LAPPL represents more than 9,900 dedicated sworn members of the Los Angeles Police Department.
LAPPL President Craig Lally released the following statement with the announced endorsement:
“The Los Angeles Police Protective League is proud to endorse Josh Newman for State Senate because we believe he’s not only highly qualified, but that he is the best choice for public safety. As a veteran, Josh has a deep understanding of the issues that impact law enforcement officials and his integrity and experience set him apart. We know Josh will be a strong advocate for improving neighborhood security in Sacramento, and we look forward to helping him in his campaign.”
Reflecting on the announced endorsement, Newman commented:
