Peace Officers Research Association of California Backs Josh Newman in State Senate Rematch Bid

ORANGE COUNTY, CA — Demonstrating his long-standing partnership with local and statewide peace officers, today U.S. Army veteran, businessman, and former State Senator Josh Newman earned the endorsement of the Peace Officers Research Association of California (PORAC) in his campaign for State Senate District 29. PORAC is the largest law enforcement organization in California, representing over 75,000 public safety members and over 930 associations.

In a statement released with the announced endorsement, PORAC President Brian Marvel remarked:

“The hardworking men and women of PORAC are proud to endorse Josh Newman in his rematch campaign for State Senate. We’re grateful that throughout his time in the State Legislature, Josh maintained an open dialogue about improving public safety, community relations, and working conditions for California’s law enforcement officers. Newman also released a statement reflecting on the announced endorsement:
