View: Guide for Coping with Coronavirus Anxiety

Supervisor Janice Hahn

In light of the CDC’s recent updates on the Coronavirus, I wanted to give you a few updates from the County:

1. There is still only one case of Coronavirus confirmed in LA County. The immediate health risk to the general public remains low but our Department of Public Health is closely monitoring the situation.

2. The Departments of Mental and Public Health have released a multi-lingual guide to coping with stress and anxiety caused by the Coronavirus:

Right now, the most important things you can do to help maintain public health are the standard practices we all learned as kids, such as washing your hands with soap and warm water and staying home if you are feeling sick.

For more preventative tips and information about the Coronavirus, Public Health has an additional guide below.

You can keep up with the latest updates on the Coronavirus at our Department of Public Health’s website or the CDC’s website. I also will be posting updates on my social media channels, so be sure you are following on FacebookTwitter, and Instagram.

Thank you,
