NYPD Chief of Transportation in critical condition with coronavirus: sources

The NYPD’s chief of transportation William T. Morris has COVID-19 and is hospitalized on life support, police sources told DailyMail.com.

Morris, 61, is gravely ill, a source said.

Morris, a three star chief who oversees traffic and highway patrol, is one of the highest ranking NYPD members to become seriously ill with the coronavirus.

Transit Bureau Chief Edward Delatorre contracted the virus last month and recovered.
