Worried about College during COVID-19?
As we work together to continue flattening the curve, it’s vital that we all stay engaged in understanding how California students can continue to learn and thrive during the COVID-19 pandemic, in class and in the real world.
Tomorrow, I’ll be joined by California Lieutenant Governor Eleni Kounalakis, President of Orange Coast College Angelica Suarez, Ph.D, and President for the Campaign for College Opportunity Michele Siqueiros, who can help answer your questions about higher education and the upcoming academic year.

We know that many students are unable to celebrate traditional graduation milestones this year including ceremonies and celebrations. Do you have any recommendations for how we can help celebrate their achievements? We invite you to reply to this email if you have a senior you’d like us to honor.
You can also catch up on my virtual town halls from previous weeks. Topics include, primary education, mental health, unemployment assistance, resources for veterans, help for renters & homeowners, tax extensions and COVID-19 testing.
As always, please do not hesitate to reach to out my office with questions or assistance. We must continue to stand together, when facing the challenges of this pandemic. If you have any questions call my team at: (949) 251-0074. Stay home, stay safe, stay strong.
Yours faithfully,
Cottie Petrie-Norris
