Women for American Values and Ethics (WAVE) Backs Sergio Contreras’s Bid for Orange County Supervisor

WESTMINSTER, CA — In another reflection of his extensive support from grassroots activists in his campaign for Orange County’s First Supervisorial District, today Westminster Councilmember Sergio Contreras secured the endorsement of Women for American Values and Ethics (WAVE).

Women for American Values and Ethics (WAVE) is a diverse group of nonpartisan women that engages, educates and empowers its members and the community to advance progressive American values and ethics.

In a statement released with the announced endorsement, WAVE Endorsement Committee Chair Beth Daley Ullem commented:

“Sergio Contreras is a strong fighter for affordable healthcare, climate action, diversity and inclusion, government integrity, educational equity, and migrant rights. Women for American Values and Ethics (WAVE) is excited to announce our support for his candidacy for Orange County Supervisor. His proven track record shows that the mission and values of WAVE resonate throughout the projects he has undertaken in his community as both a Westminster City Councilmember and a former school board member. WAVE is dedicated to advancing progressive values and ethics, and we believe strongly that Sergio is committed to advancing our values and will be an effective champion on the Board of Supervisors.”
