Irvine Councilwoman Melissa Fox Challenges Steven Choi to Join Her in Three Debates

IRVINE, CA – Today, Irvine Councilwoman Melissa Fox’s campaign for Assembly submitted a formal request to her opponent, Assemblyman Steven Choi, to publicly debate the issues that matter most to the 68th District with her in a series of three debates.

Fox released the following statement with her request:

“The hundreds of thousands of voters in the 68th Assembly District deserve to hear from the two candidates competing for their vote in the upcoming fall election. That’s why I am calling on Steven Choi to today join me in paying respect to the voters by engaging in a series of three debates on the best direction forward for Orange County.

I sincerely hope you decide to join me on the virtual debate stage, because the people in our district deserve to be respected and should be given the opportunity to see and hear their candidates for Assembly, particularly given the importance of quality leadership during this unprecedented time.”
