Joe Biden sworn in as 46th president of the United States

Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts administered the oath of office on the West Front of the U.S. Capitol for Biden, who held his hand on a worn Celtic Bible that has been in his family for over a century.

Joe Biden has taken the mantle of president from Donald Trump, and has promised to unite and push on America despite cultural divisions and the coronavirus.
