Public Health Reports 98 New Deaths and 8,243 New Positive Cases of Confirmed COVID-19 in Los Angeles County
The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (Public Health) today released the latest data on COVID-19. The lower number of deaths reflects reporting delays over the weekend.
- 8,243 new COVID-19 cases (1,073,111 cases to date)
- 98 new deaths due to COVID-19 (15,260 deaths to date)
- 6,697 people currently hospitalized with COVID-19
- 24% are in the ICU
- Nearly 5,380,000 individuals tested; 19% of people tested positive
