ORANGE COUNTY SUPERVISOR KATRINA FOLEY ENDORSES JOE KERR FOR SUPERVISOR

Mission Viejo, CA – Today Orange County Supervisor Katrina Foley announced her support for Joe Kerr’s campaign for Orange County Supervisor. Retired Orange County Fire Captain Joe Kerr is running in the open-seat contest for the 5th Supervisorial District.

Supervisor Foley released the following statement announcing her endorsement:

“Joe Kerr understands how to solve tough problems fast. As a career firefighter who rose through the ranks to lead Orange County’s first responders, he has a deep understanding of how to get things done in County government. On the Board of Supervisors, I know Joe will move fast in the right direction and fight to advance economic recovery, create jobs, and support working families. I’m proud to support Joe Kerr, and I look forward to what he accomplishes on the Board of Supervisors.”

Joe Kerr is a second-generation professional firefighter who served with the Orange County Fire Authority and Orange County Fire Department for over 34 years, including 27 years as a fire captain. He was the first President of the Orange County Professional Firefighters Association, the former Vice President of the California Professional Firefighters, as well as a former Vice President of the Orange County Central Labor Council (AFL-CIO).

Joe grew up in Orange County. He and his wife, China, are the proud parents of a 17-year-old son.
