Biden to set goal of at least one shot to 70 percent of adults by July 4

President Biden will announce Tuesday a goal of 70 percent of U.S. adults having received least one shot of the COVID-19 vaccine by July 4th, as the country moves to vaccinate harder-to-reach Americans.

In addition to the 70 percent goal, the White House said Biden, in a speech Tuesday afternoon, will set a goal to have 160 million U.S. adults fully vaccinated by July 4th.
