Public Health Reports 8 New Deaths and 3,356 New Positive Cases of COVID-19 In Los Angeles County

The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (Public Health) today released the latest data on COVID-19. The case numbers and deaths reported today may reflect delays in weekend reporting.

  • 3,356 new COVID-19 cases (1,350,370 cases to date)
  • 8 new deaths due to COVID-19 (24,900 deaths to date)
  • 1,650 people currently hospitalized with COVID-19
  • More than 7,716,000 individuals tested; 16% of all people tested positive

Anyone 12 and older living or working in L.A. County can get vaccinated against COVID-19. Vaccinations are always free and open to eligible residents and workers regardless of immigration status.
