Los Angeles County Remembers 9/11 With Patriot Day Message
LA County Department of Military & Veterans Affairs Commemorates the 20th Anniversary of September 11th with General Ruth Wong and Board Supervisors Hilda L. Solis and Janice Hahn
This Saturday, September 11, 2021, we mark the twenty-year milestone of the four coordinated terrorist attacks against the U.S. on 9/11/01, a day when the world changed forever.
In commemoration of all who were greatly affected, and the souls that were lost on that day and over the past 20 years, Board of Supervisors’ Hilda L. Solis and Janice Hahn join the County of Los Angeles Department of Military and Veterans Affairs with a special message of observance for that pivotal day we will never forget. The LA County Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA) provides assistance to LA County veterans, active service members and their families with resources, programs, services and state and federal benefits, including: compensation and pension claims, burial benefits and services, medical and mental health referral, education and vocational rehabilitation, home loans and grants applications, employment and job placement assistance, DMV veteran designation, legal service referrals, appeal processes, incarcerated veterans and aid and attendance.
