| President Biden on Tuesday sought to rally nations behind confronting urgent global challenges like the coronavirus pandemic and climate change during a speech at the United Nations General Assembly.
He described the world as being at an inflection point that will determine the collective future of all countries. “This is the clear and urgent choice that we face here at the dawning of what must be a decisive decade for our world. A decade that will quite literally determine our futures,” Biden said in prepared remarks in New York Tuesday morning. “Whether we choose to fight for our shared future or not will reverberate for generations to come.” |
