LOS ANGELES COUNTY CHILD SUPPORT SERVICES CONTINUES REOPENING WITH SCHEDULED APPOINTMENTS STARTING OCTOBER 12TH

The Los Angeles County Child Support Services Department (CSSD) continues the reopening of its public offices by offering customers in-person scheduled appointments starting October 12th. Customers can schedule appointments at the “appointments” link on the CSSD website at https://cssd.lacounty.gov/

On October 1st, CSSD began a phased reopening of its offices to the public by allowing customers to access payment kiosks, located in CSSD lobbies, to make child support payments. The Department will follow strict safety protocols to protect customers, including requiring all visitors and staff to wear face coverings and practice physical distancing.

Customers can still communicate with CSSD without visiting an office:

  • Access case information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week or contact your case manager electronically at www.cse.ca.gov/CustomerConnect
  • Call or email your CSSD caseworker directly
  • Speak with a child support professional by calling (866) 901-3212 Mon-Fri 7am-5pm
  • Chat with us via Live Chat at cssd.lacounty.gov/

Customers can still pay child support without visiting a CSSD office:

  • Online at www.childsupport.ca.gov
  • Call 866-901-3212 (option 1)
  • Send check, or money order to CA SDU, P.O. Box 989067, West Sacramento, CA 95798-9067 (include name and participant number or case number) CASH NOT ACCEPTED
  • Make payments at PayNearMe or Money Gram locations
