Assemblywoman Suzette Valladares Announces Key Endorsement from LA County Supervisor Kathryn Barger
(Los Angeles County) – Assemblywoman Suzette Martinez Valladares, running for re-election to the California State Assembly in the newly drawn 40th Assembly District, today announced a key endorsement from Los Angeles County Supervisor Kathryn Barger.
“I have known Suzette for many years not only as a legislator but also as a true friend. Suzette will be a strong voice for the Santa Clarita Valley and Northern San Fernando Valley. I know she will fight to fix homelessness in our communities and help ensure public safety,” said Supervisor Barger. “Suzette will work across the aisle to get bipartisan legislation done for our 40th Assembly District. Over the past two years, Suzette has worked night and day to make her district a more happy and healthy place.”
Supervisor Kathryn Barger represents Los Angeles County’s 5th Supervisorial District, the county’s largest, which includes 20 cities and 83 unincorporated communities in the Antelope, San Gabriel, San Fernando, Crescenta, and Santa Clarita Valleys.
“Kathryn is a great friend and leader in our communities. I look forward to continuing to work together to improve our schools, deliver accessible healthcare and vaccines, address our homelessness issues, and increase public safety in our neighborhoods,” said Assemblywoman Valladares.
