Cai Xinxin is a student at Renmin University of China in Beijing and a volunteer for the Beijing Winter Olympics in Zhangjiakou, Hebei Province.

Cai spent Chinese New Year’s Eve without her family for the first time, volunteering at the Zhangjiakou Mountain Press Centre.

She pasted up paper-cuts and spring couplets, gave festive gifts to her peers and sent greetings to the university via video call.
