“Every detail is prepared with a special meaning behind that (performance). It makes you feel like so great,” a student from Latvia told the People’s Daily after watching the opening ceremony of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics on Friday. Her feelings were shared by audiences sitting at the Beijing National Stadium to watch the performances.
