Jack Hwang, CEO of Galaxy International Group and founder of Jack & King’s, pointed out in his opening speech that the standardized ready meals, which are “convenient and free, healthy and affordable” have a huge and growing place in restaurants, supermarkets, e-commerce, take-out, and wholesale distribution channels.
According to Jack, ready meals are an increasingly important key to food industry growth and improvement. In the coming years, ready meals will increasingly serve to increase the efficiency of product iteration, reduce labor and venue costs, and expand a broader consumption environment.
Jack & King’s is leading the charge across the United States, bringing the best of ready meals and complementing the advantages of various types of food businesses to achieve win-win relationships.
Jack Hwang CEO of Galaxy International Group and founder of Jack & King’s
Regarding the definition of ready meal, Jack Hwang, the founder of Jack & King’s, clearly pointed out in his speech that ready meals can be divided into four categories: 1. Ready-to-eat food, which can be consumed directly, such as spicy squid. 2. Ready-to-heat food, which only needs heating, such as dumplings, fried rice, etc. 3. Ready-to-cook food, which are portions of preserved ingredients and seasoning packages of semi-finished dishes, such as chopped fish head, spicy bullfrog, etc. 4. Prepared food, which is mainly frozen fish and vegetables with semi-finished ingredients such as fish filets or bamboo shoots which have had the initial processing such as cleaning and slitting.
Ready meals have four major advantages. They are more convenient, flexible, more affordable, and healthier. And they provide very important economic benefits for restaurants, supermarkets, e-commerce, take-out, distributors and wholesale channels, as well as many benefits for consumers.
In recent years, because of the pandemic and inflation, as well as the rising costs of raw materials and labor, low cost with high efficiency has become an increasingly important need in the restaurant industry, and ready meals are leading the way. Already, ready meals have become an increasingly important part of the restaurant and catering industries.
Based on the huge business prospects for ready meals, Jack Hwang hosted Jack & King’s 108 Ready Meals Tasting Event, in order to encourage restaurants, supermarkets, e-commerce, take-out, and wholesale distribution channels to actively embrace the trend of ready meals and empower their own enterprises or platforms to achieve greater business expansion and revenue growth.
