Run for Something Endorses Lindsey Horvath for Los Angeles County Supervisor
LOS ANGELES, CA – Run for Something, a national organization dedicated to supporting progressive candidates in down-ballot elections, has thrown their support behind Lindsey Horvath’s campaign for Los Angeles County Supervisor for the 3rd District. The organization is the latest addition to Horvath’s growing coalition of support, which includes local leaders, neighborhood groups, and national organizations.
Run for Something recruits and supports talented, passionate young people who will advocate for progressive values in local elections. The organization was formed the day that Donald Trump was inaugurated in 2017, and has successfully supported many Democratic down-ballot candidates on their way to victory.
“Run for Something candidates show us what it means to effectively advocate for positive change and lead with their communities in mind. Our democracy is stronger because of their leadership and we can’t wait to see where this next group of endorsees takes us” said co-founder Amanda Litman.
“I’m honored to accept Run for Something’s endorsement. When I launched my campaign for Los Angeles County Supervisor, I made a commitment to running a people-focused campaign that centers progressive values and brings real solutions to the table. I’m proud that we’ve built such a strong coalition of local and national leaders who share the same goal of building an equitable and just Los Angeles. I’m ready to get to work for the people of District 3,” said Councilmember Lindsey P. Horvath.
Run for Something joins a growing wave of progressive organizations throwing their support behind Horvath’s campaign. A complete list of Horvath’s campaign endorsements can be found here.
