The West Hollywood/Beverly Hills Democratic Club Endorses Lindsey Horvath for Los Angeles County Supervisor
LOS ANGELES, CA – Support for Lindsey Horvath continues to coalesce in Supervisorial District 3 as the West Hollywood/Beverly Hills Democratic Club joins a long list of organizations endorsing the Councilmember. The influential club has a long history of supporting candidates with strong progressive values.
“The West Hollywood/Beverly Hills Democratic Club is proud to endorse Councilmember Horvath for LA County Supervisor. She has demonstrated time and again that she has the experience and the integrity needed to lead. As Mayor and Councilmember in West Hollywood, she championed working families and cut through red tape to strengthen worker protections while also protecting our small business community. Her knowledge of local communities will make her an asset to the County, and we look forward to her tenure on the Board,” said Lillian Raffel, President of the West Hollywood/Beverly Hills Democratic Club.
The West Hollywood Democratic Club was founded in 1985 after the City of West Hollywood was officially incorporated. In 2005, local activists in Beverly Hills formed Beverly Hills Democrats as part of an effort to establish a grassroots Democratic club. The two groups merged in 2009 to create the West Hollywood/Beverly Hills Democratic Club.
“I’m thankful to the West Hollywood/Beverly Hills Democratic Club for their endorsement. The past two years of the COVID-19 pandemic have been incredibly difficult for working people across the board; we need strong leadership, now more than ever, to guide the decision-making and implementation of solutions to our most pressing problems. Los Angeles County is a unique region that requires thoughtful, locally-informed policies rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. As a local official for over 15 years, I’m proud to have earned the trust of my community and neighbors, and I’m ready to step up for the people of Los Angeles,” said Councilmember Lindsey P. Horvath.
