Ethiopian Democratic Club of Los Angeles Endorses Lindsey Horvath for LA County Supervisor

LOS ANGELES, CA – This week, the Ethiopian Democratic Club of Los Angeles (EDCLA) announced their official endorsement of the Honorable Lindsey Horvath’s campaign for 3rd District Los Angeles County Supervisor. The EDCLA Board chose to endorse Horvath after careful consideration. The organization joins a long list of local Democratic clubs supporting Horvath’s campaign.

The Ethiopian Democratic Club of Los Angeles was created with the aim of advancing the needs of the Ethiopian-American community through civic engagement. The club works to increase the voter turnout among Ethiopian-American voters in Los Angeles, and to support candidates that align with the needs and values of the Ethiopian community.

“I am honored to receive the endorsement of EDCLA. This group of committed civic leaders is engaged in the critical work of empowering local voters and helping to bring up the next generation of leaders. LA is powered by immigrants, and our Ethiopian-American community has made countless contributions to our region’s history and culture. As we move into a post-pandemic world, we must make sure the unique needs of immigrant communities are recognized and addressed. I look forward to working closely with organizations like EDCLA to ensure the people of LA have the support they need to thrive,” said Councilmember Lindsey P. Horvath.

The Ethiopian Democratic Club of Los Angeles is the latest organization to announce their support for Lindsey’s campaign.
