NORTH VALLEY DEMOCRATIC CLUB ENDORSES COUNCILWOMAN LINDSEY HORVATH FOR SUPERVISOR

San Fernando Valley activists and leaders continue to coalesce behind Horvath.

LOS ANGELES, CA – Support continues to grow for Councilwoman Lindsey Horvath in her run for Los Angeles County Supervisor with today’s newly announced endorsement from the North Valley Democratic Club.

“Councilwoman Lindsey Horvath is dedicated to making inclusive, progressive change for our community, and protecting our most vulnerable and marginalized residents,” said Richard M. Mathews, President of the North Valley Democratic Club. “With proven plans to tackle issues such as reducing homelessness, protecting workers’ rights, combating climate change, and leading COVID-19 recovery, Lindsey Horvath is our choice in District 3.”

Established in 1970, North Valley Democratic Club is focused on civic engagement and has worked to elect Democrats in the San Fernando Valley for over 50 years, aiding underserved populations in the midst of a decline in local political engagement.

“Groups like North Valley Democratic Club are vital to civic engagement and a strong democracy,” said Councilwoman Horvath. “I’m inspired by the work they do throughout the Valley, and I will bring their energy and passion for progressive change to the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors.”
