NORTHRIDGE INDIVISIBLE ENDORSES COUNCILWOMAN LINDSEY HORVATH FOR SUPERVISOR

San Fernando Community Continues to Rally Behind Horvath for Board of Supervisors District 3

LOS ANGELES, CA – Today, Northridge Indivisible announced their support for Councilwoman Lindsey Horvath in her bid for the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors District 3. The organization is the latest group of San Fernando Valley grassroots organizations to join Horvath’s growing coalition of supporters.

“Lindsey Horvath’s proven record of progressive community leadership is exactly what we need here in the San Fernando Valley,” stated Northridge Indivisible. “We believe her effective, humane approach to addressing homelessness through treatment and housing,  her dedication towards a sustainable environment, affordable housing, and expanding access to public transit is the voice we need on the Board of Supervisors.”

Northridge Indivisible is a group of Northridge-based progressive volunteers focused on fighting structural racism, promoting progressive solutions to issues, and holding representatives accountable. By informing the public and building a relationship with their community, they aim to drive voter turnout during elections.

“I am honored to receive the endorsement of Northridge Indivisible,” said Councilwoman Horvath. “Community organizations like Northridge Indivisible are crucial to our democracy through their work to promote civic engagement and advocate for the needs of disenfranchised communities. Throughout my career, I devoted myself to the service of those who have felt left out and ignored, and as Supervisor, I will make sure they have a seat at the table.”
