Agoura Hills Mayor Deborah Klein Lopez and City Councilmember Illece Buckley Weber Join Horvath’s Campaign

LOS ANGELES, CA – Today, Councilwoman and candidate for Los Angeles County Supervisor Lindsey Horvath secured the endorsements of Agoura Hills Mayor Deborah Klein Lopez and Councilmember Illece Buckley Weber, yet another demonstration of Horvath’s district-wide support for her Supervisorial bid.

“I stand with Lindsey Horvath because she stands for justice,” said Agoura Hills Mayor Deborah Klein Lopez. “We need a champion to lead our community in combating homelessness and providing affordable housing, now more than ever, and Lindsey has a proven record of making a meaningful difference for her community. I am proud to endorse her.”

Deborah Klein Lopez was elected as Agoura Hills Mayor in 2018 and served as a Homeless Shelter Site Manager for the Conejo Valley Meal and Shelter Program for nearly 18 years. Councilmember Buckley Weber has represented the city of Agoura Hills since 2011 where she served as mayor in 2014 and 2019. She has also served on the city’s Public Works, Environmental Sustainability and Annexation subcommittees. Both leaders are dedicated to conservation efforts in Agoura Hills, where Mayor Lopez is the Director of the Resource Conservation District of the Santa Monica Mountains, and Councilmember Buckley Weber serves as a representative on the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy Advisory Committee.

“Lindsey Horvath is an incredibly effective leader who delivers results for her community,” said Councilmember Illece Buckley Weber. “As someone who has worked on protecting the natural beauty of Agoura Hills, I recognize Horvath’s shared devotion to environmental stewardship, protecting our open space and water, and fighting climate change in Los Angeles County. With her work and leadership on the Clean Power Alliance of Southern California, I trust that Lindsey Horvath will continue her dedication to a sustainable future as LA County Supervisor.”

“I am grateful to have the endorsement of Mayor Deborah Klein Lopez and Councilmember Buckley Weber, who are strong, passionate leaders of Agoura Hills,” said Councilwoman Lindsey Horvath. “Their efforts have protected residents and moved their city towards improved safety and sustainability. I know that, together, we can build a resilient and greener future for Agoura Hills, the Santa Monica Mountains, and LA County.”
