Public Health Reports 4,544 New Positive Cases and 37 New Deaths Due to COVID-19 in Los Angeles County Since Saturday

The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (Public Health) today released the latest data on COVID-19.

• 4,544 New COVID-19 cases (3,430,358 cases to date)
  • Monday 9/12 – 941
  • Sunday 9/11 – 1,255
  • Saturday 9/10 – 2,348

• 37 New deaths due to COVID-19 (33,385 deaths to date)
  • Monday 9/12 – 10
  • Sunday 9/11 – 10
  • Saturday 9/10 – 17
• Hospitalization numbers are currently pending as we await more information from the California Department of Public Health
• More than 12,508,000 individuals tested; 24% of people tested positive to date

Data is by date reported by DPH, but does not necessarily represent the date of testing, hospitalization, or death.
