ASSEMBLYMEMBER TINA MCKINNOR ENDORSES COUNCILWOMAN LINDSEY HORVATH FOR LA COUNTY SUPERVISOR
LOS ANGELES, CA – Today, California Assemblymember Tina McKinnor officially announced her support for Councilwoman Lindsey Horvath’s bid for Los Angeles County Supervisor. McKinnor joins a growing list of local electeds supporting Horvath’s campaign.
“Councilwoman Horvath and I share the same vision of LA County,” said Assemblymember Tina McKinnor. “We both dream of an L.A. that is equitable in housing, environmental justice, and education. Lindsey understands the importance of working with the community to get there.”
Representing the 62nd District, Assemblymember Tina McKinnor was elected in June of 2022. She has already been hard at work, with her legislation to address the ongoing housing crisis, which received unanimous support from her colleagues, at the Governor’s desk awaiting signature. Prior to her election, McKinnor served as Operational Director for the California Democratic Party and Civic Engagement Director for community organization LA Voice.
“I am proud to have the endorsement of a leader who truly embodies and acts upon Democratic values,” said Councilwoman Horvath. “Assemblymember McKinnor was a mover and shaker in L.A. County, even before she was elected to her current office. Her work has centered those who are often forgotten. As Supervisor, I look forward to working with her to continue that legacy of delivering a better life for the people of the 3rd District.”
