NATALIE RUBALCAVA WINS ELECTION FOR ANAHEIM CITY COUNCIL
Anaheim, CA – Natalie Rubalcava has won the election for Anaheim’s 3rd City Council District. Rubalcava is a city commissioner, nonprofit leader, businesswoman, mom, and fourth-generation Anaheim resident.
Rubalcava, who was a first-time candidate for public office, currently leads her only competitor by a margin of around 17%. There are not enough votes left to count in the contest to change the outcome.
In responding to her electoral win, Rubalcava released the following statement:
“I’m humbled by the support that I received from voters throughout the 3rd District, and I’m excited to get to work at City Hall. On the City Council, I’ll serve as the responsive and accessible advocate that our district’s residents deserve. I’ll show up, listen, and invest the time and energy needed to be effective and deliver results for Central Anaheim.
I’d like to thank my family, my campaign team, and my supporters for investing so much of their time and energy in this campaign. I’d also like to thank my opponent, AUHSD Trustee Al Jabbar, for a race well run. We might not agree on every issue, but I know that Al cares deeply about the future of our city.”
