Public Health Reports 2,201 New Positive Cases and 30 New Deaths Due to COVID-19 in Los Angeles County Since Saturday

The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (Public Health) today released the latest data on COVID-19.

• 2,201 New COVID-19 cases (3,682,742 cases to date)
  • Monday 2/6 – 404
  • Sunday 2/5 – 624
  • Saturday 2/4 – 1,173
• 30 New deaths due to COVID-19 (35,355 deaths to date)
  • Monday 2/6 – 8
  • Sunday 2/5 – 10
  • Saturday 2/4 – 12

• Hospitalization numbers are currently pending as we await more information from the California Department of Public Health
• More than 12,900,000 individuals tested; 25% of people tested positive to date

Data is by date reported by DPH, but does not necessarily represent the date of testing, hospitalization, or death.
