Los Angeles County Assessor Jeff Prang is set to host the next in-person Resource Fair in Temple City where residents will get the latest information on vital County services such as property tax savings for those with damages from the latest slate of torrential rain storms, among numerous other services.
The fair is free and open to the public at the Live Oak Park Community Center this Saturday, March 4. The Resource Fair is designed to connect homeowners with various services available to them, with perhaps the most timely being a tax savings program for those property owners experiencing damage from the rainstorms. Also, they will discover how to build Accessory Dwelling Units, or ADUs – the small granny flats you find behind homes, to name just a couple of the County services offered.
“These in-person Resource Fairs are attracting hundreds of visitors eager to learn about the vital County Services available to them and we are anticipating a good-sized crowd,” Assessor Jeff Prang said. “ Although this is only our first Fair this year, they are growing in popularity from the two we did in 2022 and we expect tomorrow to be a busy day.”
