Public Health Reports 1,238 New Positive Cases and 35 New Deaths Due to COVID-19 in Los Angeles County Since Saturday

The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (Public Health) today released the latest data on COVID-19.

  • 1,238 New COVID-19 cases (3,720,572 cases to date)
    • Monday 3/20 – 236
    • Sunday 3/19 – 333
    • Saturday 3/18 – 669
  • 35 New deaths due to COVID-19 (35,925 deaths to date)
    • Monday 3/20 – 11
    • Sunday 3/19 – 12
    • Saturday 3/18 – 12
  • Hospitalization numbers are currently pending as we await more information from the California Department of Public Health
  • More than 12,977,000 individuals tested; 25% of people tested positive to date
