Public Health Lifts Recommendation to Remain Indoors after City of Commerce Industrial Building Fire
After the recent industrial building fire in the City of Commerce, Public Health has continued monitoring the air quality in the area. Readings were taken at quarter-mile intervals up to one mile away from the fire location in all directions last night. All recorded PM 2.5 levels were below the EPA’s 24-hour standard of 0.035 mg/m3.
With the fire now out and air quality readings below standard limits, the recommendation to remain indoors has been lifted.
