Alvarado Health Center Will Increase Healthcare Access for Low-Income Residents

in the Westlake Community

WHEN:	Saturday, July 29, 2023 9:30 am to 12:00 pm 10:00 am – Grand Opening Ceremony
WHAT:	Los Angeles County Supervisor Hilda L. Solis and the Los Angeles County Department Health Services will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony and resource fair to celebrate the grand opening of the new Alvarado Health Center. Residents are invited to enjoy a free information-filled outdoor community event with music, information, and resources from various community organizations. The Alvarado Health Care Center is part of the Department of Health Services. The new facility will serve as a primary care provider for Medi-Cal patients in the Westlake District and surrounding neighborhoods. Patients at Alvarado Health Center will have access to a wide range of clinical care and supportive services, including primary care, behavioral health intervention, addiction treatment, and laboratory work. The Alvarado Health Center is proud to offer services in English, Spanish and Korean to reflect the needs of the local community. The event will feature a ribbon cutting and speeches from Los Angeles County’s notable elected officials and community leaders. Facility tours will be available to the media.
