County of Los Angeles Department of Parks and Recreation Celebrates “Pride At The Park” in Partnership with LA County-Based LGBTQIA+ Organizations
Events across 33 locations will spotlight local LGBTQIA+ artists and speakers and LA County Parks’ commitment to community inclusivity
LOS ANGELES, CA, (June 18, 2024)— Starting June 20, the County of Los Angeles Department of Parks and Recreation (LA County Parks) will begin its Pride At The Park events to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community and allies across the county. In partnership with the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, Pride At The Park features vibrant programming in collaboration with local non-profit organizations dedicated to advancing LGBTQIA+ equality through education and advocacy.
Pride At The Park programming will span from June 20 to June 29 across 18 LA County parks, 6 pools, and 9 natural areas. These 2-hour programs are free and feature entertainment, performances, giveaways, resource fairs, group hikes, pool activities and much more.
