Kevin Frazier to Receive LA Press Club’s 2024 Career Achievement Award

Los Angeles, CAKevin Frazier, the celebrated co-host of Entertainment Tonight, has been named the recipient of the Los Angeles Press Club’s 2024 Luminary Award for Career Achievement. The award will be presented on December 1 at the 17th National Arts & Entertainment Journalism Awards Gala, held at the iconic Millennium Biltmore Hotel in downtown Los Angeles.

“Kevin Frazier is an engaging and versatile host and interviewer,” said Los Angeles Press Club President Lisa Richwine. “He is a true luminary in the entertainment journalism field, and we are thrilled to honor him at this year’s awards gala.”

Frazier, a fixture in entertainment journalism, has been co-hosting Entertainment Tonight since 2014, after a decade of working with the show. The newsmagazine has garnered nine Emmy Awards under his tenure. Prior to his current role, Frazier was the co-host and managing editor of ET’s sister show, The Insider, and has been involved in numerous other high-profile projects, including Game Changers with Kevin Frazier, Clash of the Commercials, and leading sports broadcasts for Fox and FX.

A familiar face on CBS, Frazier has co-hosted the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade since 2011 and continues to be a prominent figure in both entertainment and sports media.

Beyond his professional achievements, Frazier is deeply involved in the Los Angeles community, participating in numerous charitable events and engagements. He is also a member of the National Association of Black Journalists, further solidifying his impact in the media industry.

The Luminary Award ceremony will also honor singer-songwriter Melissa Etheridge with the Distinguished Storyteller Award, while comedian and actress Tiffany Haddish will receive the Visionary Award for her humanitarian work. The event will pay tribute to Roger Corman, last year’s Distinguished Storyteller Awardee, and is expected to draw hundreds of journalists and media executives.

The prestigious event on December 1 will celebrate Kevin Frazier’s remarkable career and lasting influence in entertainment journalism.
