Frank Scotto Endorsed by Torrance Councilman Milton Herring
TORRANCE – Former Torrance Mayor and small business owner Frank Scotto has earned the endorsement of Torrance City Councilman Milton Herring.
“As Mayor, Frank navigated the city through turbulent financial years and into a time where we able to enjoy the calm of prosperity. He left a legacy of hard work and dedication to this community, we need him in Sacramento,” said Councilman Herring. “I am proud to endorse his campaign for State Assembly and look forward to the great work he will do for this region.”
A resident of Torrance for the past 60 years, Scotto owned and operated a local tow truck company, Frank Scotto Towing. As a small business owner who had to navigate through California’s complex business environment, Frank was able to grow his business and employ local residents along the way. If elected to the Assembly, he plans on using this experience to promote policies that will improve California’s business climate and help bring jobs back to the region.
Today, Frank spends much of his time volunteering for a number of local organizations, including the Torrance Rose Float Association, Torrance Sister City Association, the Arts Council of Torrance, and the Chambers of Commerce of Torrance, Redondo Beach, and Lomita.
Frank Scotto is the former Mayor of Torrance. He is running for State Assembly in the 66th Assembly District, which encompasses much of the South Bay of Los Angeles.
