Frank Scotto Secures Endorsement of Former Ranchos Palos Verdes Mayor Stefan Wolowicz
TORRANCE – Stefan Wolowicz, retired Mayor of Ranchos Palos Verdes, has endorsed former Torrance Mayor and local small business owner Frank Scotto in his bid for State Assembly.
“I have known Frank for many years, and I am confident that he is the best candidate to represent the South Bay community in the State Assembly,” said Wolowicz. “His time in office proves his leadership is sound, and his career as a small business owner proves that he understands the economic needs of real Californians. I am proud to support Frank’s campaign.”
Scotto spent nearly two decades working in government with the City of Torrance, beginning as a Civil Service Commissioner in 1997. He went on to serve on the City Council, where he earned the appointment from his peers as Mayor Pro-Tem. In 2006, he was elected as Mayor of Torrance and reelected in 2010.
In addition to serving on the City Council, Frank was the owner and founder of the local tow truck company Frank Scotto Towing. While growing his small business and creating jobs along the way, Frank remained committed to serving his community, earning numerous accolades for the company’s outstanding service to the South Bay community.
Frank Scotto is the former Mayor of Torrance. He is running for State Assembly in the 66th Assembly District, which encompasses much of the South Bay of Los Angeles.
