Senior Republicans Asking Unity on CA 39th District Jungle Primary
Seventeen candidates are vying for the open CA 39th District Congressional seat in the June 5th primary election. Senior Republicans at the Bob Huff for Congress GOTV rally in Walnut, on June 2nd said, if the votes are divided between too many candidates, Republicans risk losing this seat. Republican voters must focus on one candidate to secure this seat.
Current CA 39th District Congressman Ed Royce (R) announced his retirement in January of this year. His open seat attracted 17 people who turned in nomination papers to run; 7 Republican candidates, 6 Democratic candidates, 2 American Independent Party, and 2 with no party preference.
