LA county supervisor statement on June 5 election

This week, well over 100,000 LA County voters were left off the election rosters, causing delay and confusion.

The fact that such a large number of names were left off of precinct rosters this Election Day is unacceptable. I spoke to LA County Registrar Dean Logan and urged him to ensure that every provisional ballot be processed as quickly as possible. Every provisional ballot cast by a registered voter will be counted and a full investigation into what went wrong will take place.
