Delegation of Tongling City meets local Chinese communities in Los Angeles

Xiangqian Shan,  the deputy secretary of the Tongling Municipal Party Committee, led a delegation visiting Los Angeles on June 27. A tight day’s itinerary communicated in depth with the local compatriots and carefully listened to their personal and professional introductions one by one. On behalf of the city of Tongling, they expressed their gratitude to local overseas Chinese, introduced the social and economic development status of Tongling, and enthusiastically invited overseas Chinese to Tongling to demonstrate their sincerity.

At the symposium presided over by Sun Xudong, president of the All-America Association of AnHui Scholars and Students, Shan said that he felt the enthusiasm of the overseas Chinese and was proud of the experience of the folks fighting on overseas. It will surely build a better Tongling and sincerely invite overseas Chinese to visit Tongling.

The national Tongling Economic Development Zone ranks third in Anhui Province. Wu, Shiwei, deputy director of the Management Committee, introduced the economic development of the District. The deep processing of copper is still the dominant industry and has the most complete series of copper products in the country. As a resource-transforming city, Tongling has made many beneficial attempts and achievements through the open area. In the future, we will focus on the combined development with other industries.
