Frank Scotto Endorsed by California Parks & Recreation Society
TORRANCE, CA– Former Torrance Mayor Frank Scotto received the endorsement of the California Parks and Recreation Society (CPRS), in his race to become the next State Assembly Member from District 66.
“Frank Scotto has an influential voice on issues related to water, parks, and other natural resources. He has advocated for the beautification of our neighborhoods and increases in public services,” said Stephanie Stephens, CPRS Executive Director. “We are excited to support Frank and thank him for all the work he has done in Torrance like building the Seaside Heroes pocket park”
Throughout his career in public service, Frank has supported many projects geared towards protecting the environment and promoting public parks, including a project that planted more than one thousand trees. Frank’s commitment to environmentally friendly projects stems from his dedication to preserving a healthy environment for future generations.
In addition to CPRS, Frank has been endorsed by the Torrance Police Association, the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association, and the Los Angeles Lincoln Club.
Frank Scotto is the former Mayor of Torrance. He is running for State Assembly in the 66th Assembly District, which encompasses much of the South Bay of Los Angeles.
