Manafort’s cooperation agreement with Mueller

Former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafortpleaded guilty to two federal charges on Friday, reaching a cooperation agreement with special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

Manafort has agreed to sit for interviews with Mueller’s special counsel team, testify in any future cases and submit related documents, Judge Amy Berman Jackson said in court.

Manafort pleaded guilty plea to one count of conspiracy against the United States and one count of conspiracy to obstruct justice by witness tampering.
