Shandong takes new measures to woo foreign talent

East China’s Shandong province has implemented 10 new measures to attract more foreign talent to further promote the province’s high-quality development and opening up, according to the Information Office of the Shandong Provincial Government.

These measures aim to better facilitate the entry and exit of foreign talent in the province by easing requirements for permanent residency permits and lifting controls on the recruitment and use of international talent, as well as to build a better start-up and innovation environment for foreign workers.

Other measures will enhance social security services for foreign talent, ease accommodation registration procedures, and improve the childhood education environment.
